What is a Vibrance Lyft Treatment

Vibrance Lyft is a new procedure for lifting and tightening skin on the face and neck. A needle loaded with fine PDO threads is gently injected and then removed leaving the PDO threads behind, just beneath the skin.

The skin then safely heals itself around the thread by naturally creating new collagen. Skin is lifted, tightened, and collagen is stimulated to improve texture, fine lines and elasticity.

What is a PDO Thread

PDO threads are Polydioxanone sutures, one of the safest materials that can be implanted into the body. They are fine, absorbable sutures that are used in cardiothoracic surgery. The sutures are inserted underneath the skin and are not visible. Your skin will completely absorb them in about four to six months, leaving no scar tissue.

The procedure is safe, non-invasive with little or no pain and can even be done on your lunch break.

During the Procedure

The treatment area will be numbed with topical and local anesthetics
Treatment areas are marked
The PDO threads (sutures)are inserted under your skin
The suture is left under your skin and the needle removed

After the Procedure

The sutures will be safely absorbed in 4-6 months
Any discomfort can be managed with ibuprofen or acetaminophen
Sometimes there is some mild swelling and/or bruising for a few days
Icing the treatment area can reduce any mild swelling
