A closeup of a woman with glowing skin

HydraFacials are a fast and comfortable way to get smoother, brighter, and younger-looking skin. Your skin will have a natural glow after this pain-free and FDA-approved facial treatment.

Do you perform a nightly skin-care routine that has many steps but disappointing results?

Are you thinking, “There’s got to be a better way to have glowing skin.” Well, there is!

Our Vibrance guide to HydraFacials tells you what to expect.

What Is a HydraFacial?

A HydraFacial uses a patented technology to provide several skincare treatments in one easy session. It gently cleanses the skin, unclogs pores, extracts dead skin cells, and removes dirt and impurities.

This layer of dead cells is one of the main reasons your serums and other skin products can’t penetrate your skin to do their work—and the reason make-up won’t go on smoothly.

Toward the end of the HydraFacial session, the treatment wand infuses your skin with healthy serums to make it brighten and glow. The serums contain antioxidants, hyaluronic acid and peptides that will nourish your skin.

After treatment, your skin looks smoother, healthier, and younger.

More About the HydraFacial Treatment

A HydraFacial is a non-invasive, multi-step treatment that avoids the use of harsh chemical peels or dermabrasion.

Edge Systems created a proprietary machine that is used for this treatment.

Clients enjoy the fact that they don’t experience any irritation or breakouts afterward. In fact, some have described the treatment as being refreshing and soothing.

HydraFacials are truly an innovation in beauty technology and a breakthrough in maintaining skin health.

Participating spas, such as Vibrance MedSpa, must be registered and licensed to offer HydraFacials.

Why is A HydraFacial So Gentle?

While part of the HydraFacial treatment sounds similar to microdermabrasion, it is really quite different. This type of dermabrasion is much gentler for the skin. The system simply uses jets of water to exfoliate the skin’s surface.

The cleansing tip uses vacuum-like suction to clean deeper. This exceeds the cleansing that occurs during manual extractions.

Acids used in chemical peels can cause irritation and are usually limited to lighter skin tones. However, a HydraFacial uses no abrasive materials and works great on all skin tones.

The HydraFacial Technology

The patented delivery system is used to exfoliate, extract and hydrate your skin—all with the use of one device. Vacuum technology and hydrating serums work together to dislodge and remove skin impurities, while delivering hydrating solutions. It’s easily and painless.

What to Expect During Treatment

Step One: Cleanse and Peel

At the start of the HydraFacial treatment, a hand-held device with an exfoliating tip and suction gently sprays water over your skin. The spray is forceful enough to exfoliate your skin and remove dead surface skin cells.

The glycolic and salicylic acids gently exfoliate the skin and can be used on sensitive skin without causing any discomfort.

Step Two: Extract and Hydrate

For the second treatment step, a special tip is used to vacuum out oil, blackheads, and other impurities. The vacuum technology is non-irritating and gentle for the skin.

The delivery process simultaneously delivers topical moisturizers.

Step Three: Fuse and Protect

The third treatment step involves the application of serums that nourish, hydrate, and plump the skin. The skin is saturated with antioxidants and peptides. Since the layer of dead skin has been removed, the serums easily absorb into the skin. You have the option to apply other solutions at this time to address more specific skin issues, such as fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, or hyperpigmentation.

The HydraFacial Addresses Many Skin Issues

A HydraFacial will help with these skin concerns:
  • Oily skin–treatment removes excess sebum and unclogs pores to help prevent future acne, blackheads, and whiteheads
  • Dull and dry skin—treatment hydrates skin and improves itching and cracking skin
  • Lines and wrinkles—newer, healthier, well-hydrated skin reveals itself, showing fewer fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Enlarged/Clogged pores—treatment effectively removes impurities and dirt, preventing acne and wrinkles
  • Hyperpigmentation—reduces appearance by removal of top layer of dead skin cells

Enjoy Results Immediately After Treatment

The results of HydraFacial are dramatic—your skin is noticeably brighter, firmer, revitalized, and glowing! You look years younger.

An added benefit is there is no downtime after treatment. You can leave the spa after your 30-minute treatment and pick up your daily activities right where you left off.

There may be very minimal redness for up to 2 hours after treatment. Some minor flaking of additional dead skin cells can occur up to 3 days after treatment.

Aestheticians will advise you not to use any harsh skincare products for several days after your HydraFacial. During this time, your skin is still benefitting from the intensely moisturizing HydraFacial treatment.

When to Avoid a HydraFacial Treatment

Although this treatment is extremely gentle, do not undergo this treatment if you have a rash, moderate-to-severe acne, rosacea, or sunburn.

Pregnant women should also consult with their doctor before treatment because some treatment ingredients haven’t been tested for safety during pregnancy.

How Many Treatments Do You Need?

A single HydraFacial treatment should show results for anywhere between four and six weeks, and one treatment will show impressive results.
